London
Lloyd's of London are renowned for their provision
of specialist insurance services to businesses in
over 120 countries. Mapsoft has created the user
documentation to accompany Lloyd's of London
Documentation Set software. This is a sophisticated
and specialised product designed to assist Lloyd's
agents and franchisees world-wide in working with
Lloyd's forms and schedules electronically.
Institute of
Public Finance (IPF)
IPF is the management support services company of
the Chartered Institute of Public Finance
Accountancy. IPF produces a large asset
management system to assist public sector managers
in the management of large and diverse property
portfolios. Mapsoft has re-written the documentation
accompanying this asset management system to bring
it in line with recent upgrades to the software and
to present a more cohesive and integrated
documentation set.
Sector
Forensics
Sector Forensics specialises in providing computer
forensic services to the business, legal and law
enforcement communities. Mapsoft has created the
documentation to accompany Evidence Tracker, a tool
produced by Sector Forensics for securing and
auditing electronic evidence.
Adobe Systems
Inc The world famous software company responsible
for publishing tools such as Acrobat, PDF and
InDesign. Mapsoft created some of the on-line help
for Adobe's PageMaker product.
Network Rail Mapsoft helps keep British trains on track with
the development of a unique Adobe Acrobat solution
to collate all information regarding maintenance,
line closures, speed restrictions etc across the UK
rail network. Mapsoft provided a full product
solution comprising both software and accompanying
documentation.
McAfee McAfee are a leading provider of anti-virus and security software for protecting computers against viruses and other malware. Catherine Peters, Mapsoft's Technical Publications Director, worked as a free-lance technical writer and editor for McAfee for ten months in 2006. During this time she was the sole author for one of McAfee's leading anti-virus software products, with responsibility for updating the existing documentation in line with an update to the software. She also edited numerous technical documents to ensure they conformed to McAfee’s in-house style rules, and were grammatically accurate, well-written,<br>
easy-to-read, consistent, complete and matched the relevant software.
